Janet Roberts is an award-winning author of two works of contemporary fiction. Her novels The Narrow Gate (2015) and The Leaf Queen (2016) won First Place - Fiction from Pittsburgh's The Author Zone (TAZ). She is also the author of the memoir Seven Thin Dimes (2015), which received a TAZ Honorable Mention for Memoir.
 
Her third novel, What Lies We Keep (Ten 16 Press), is a cyber security thriller with domestic suspense, partially set in Pittsburgh. It is scheduled for publication on May 7, 2024 and will be available through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and TEN 16 Press.
 
A former globally recognized expert in cybersecurity education and awareness, she lives in Pittsburgh, PA.  Her Western Pennsylvania roots run deep and appear in much of her work. Its lush green mountains, warm sunny beaches, and salt of the earth kind of people populate her writing as they do her life.
